Stephanie Palmeri Farias is a passionate and equity-driven educator with over three decades of experience serving students, families, and schools in public education. Her work centers on creating inclusive systems of support that honor the whole child and foster belonging, healing, and connection. As a seasoned school and district leader, Stephanie brings expertise in restorative practices, student support services, decreasing chronic absenteeism, and culturally responsive approaches to school discipline and climate.
Stephanie is especially known for her ability to engage teams in transformational conversations and practices that center relationship-building and community accountability. She has led numerous Restorative Practices trainings for educators and administrators, helping shift school cultures away from punitive systems toward those grounded in care, compassion, and collaboration. With deep knowledge of attendance and equity data, Stephanie also supports districts in building tiered systems of intervention and in addressing systemic barriers that disproportionately affect historically marginalized students, including foster youth, homeless youth, English learners, and students with disabilities.
Stephanie's commitment to restorative and healing-centered work is rooted in her belief that every student deserves to be seen, heard, and supported. She is particularly skilled at creating conditions for meaningful reflection, dialogue, and shared responsibility across school communities.
Stephanie lives in San Jose, CA, with her husband, two youngest children, mother, and dog. She is deeply committed to creating more just and loving systems—both professionally and personally.
